The Baton of Hope was the UK’s largest ever suicide prevention initiative. I proudly helped, was the largest sponsor for my clients and friend. He survived and he now works as a Mental Health Recovery Worker for the Derbyshire Peer Support and Recovery Service (DRPSS) part of Rethink Mental Illness. He is also a Wellbeing Coach with Living Well Derbyshire NHS and now helps support his own patients. He was selected to carry the Baton with his special 6 year old Son, the reason he lives on...
Emergency Services Support
Whilst I was on my way to another job today I passed this with a flat tyre. I pulled over and offered help as I knew it wouldn’t have a spare tyre. They had rang the breakdown recovery who was no help whatsoever. I was able to carry out a repair on the tyre so they could carry on with there emergency call outs.
It’s not always about making money it’s about helping people and being nice and caring. It gave me a great feeling once I’d done and they were both so grateful.
